On December 6th, the National Finals of the 2024 "FLTRP Teaching Star" Competition was held in Beijing and was broadcast live online simultaneously. After rounds of fierce competitions, a total of 19 participating teacher teams stood out from more than 800 teams and entered the National Finals. Over 80,000 teachers engaged in observation and dialogue, learned from each other, jointly explored the effective ways to integrating digital intelligence into foreign language teaching, and shared innovative ideas for cultivating international talents. The team led by Professor Huang Zhihua from the faculty of international studies of our university finally won the national third place and the national special prize in the peak showdown of the Finals. This is the best result our university has ever achieved in this competition. In this competition, the outstanding performance of our teacher team fully demonstrated the profound academic accumulation and first-class teaching level of our foreign language teachers, and it is also a typical achievement of the organized teaching and research activities of the faculty of international studies.
