To explore the profound heritage of universities and inspire youthful dreams, more than 60 teachers and students from Experimental Middle School Affiliated with Southwestern University of Finance and Economics recently visited the Liulin Campus of our university, launching a thematic study tour themed “Embrace the Charm of University, Chart the Course for the Future”.
The volunteer team from the Faculty of International Studies provided full-process assistance and guidance, leading the students from the middle school to conduct in-depth visits to campus landmarks, allowing them to experience the academic atmosphere of the university and the characteristics of finance and economics disciplines. Through campus tours, subject experience activities and other forms, the activity helped middle school students intuitively perceive the university’s educational environment and academic culture.
A leading teacher stated, “This activity not only showcases the disciplinary characteristics of SWUFE but also provides inspiration for students’ future academic planning.” In the future, the faculty will continue to promote the collaborative education mechanism among universities, middle and primary schools, and rely on the advantages of the English discipline in the finance and economics university to facilitate the in-depth integration of basic education and higher education.
